Having both grown-up going on various camping trips my husband and I decided to purchase our first caravan in July 2020.

In the mists of COVID-19 lockdown we had spent a long time thinking about buying a van and following a trawl of the Internet and Facebook marketplace we found our first caravan! The aptly named Compass Corona 524 has already caused a number of laughs based on its name!

Having purchased the caravan we then needed to call on friends to help us get it home as getting a towbar fitted to our car turned out to be a longer process than we thought.

It would appear everyone in the country had turned to caravanning and the demand for towbar fitters was through the roof! 4 weeks later we finally had our bar fitted and we were ready for our first trip away!
