Our Stay
The site was very busy when we arrived due to it being the school half term holidays, although don’t let this put you off. There are lots of areas to choose from both closer to the children play areas and more secluded spots.

Location / Access
Located within Clumber Park the club site is a short drive from the A1 onto the A614 and then onto Limetree Avenue (this being the road within Clumber Park itself).

The Site
Clumber Park site has a large welcome area to the site, which includes a late night arrival area.

Being set within the greater Clumber Park area, this large site is surrounded by trees and has 174 pitches, 87 are hardstanding. Due to the site being very busy we only had limited number of pitches to choose from, all of these being grass. The weather over the previous week had been very warm so this wasn’t a problem. We pitched on number 147 which is on the outer circle of the site close to a service point.

The site has two facilities blocks, we didn’t use these during our stay so cannot comment on them.
In the area
There are a number of local attractions near to the site. The National Trust visitor centre at Clumber Park has a shop, cafe and bike hire facilities, and there are lots of cycle routes in the park. Sherwood Forest vistor centre is only a short drive away as is Sherwood Pines. A little further afield is The Workhouse (National Trust) in Southwell and Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield (National Trust).
