Location

Knighthayes is just outside Tiverton in the village of Bolham on the A396, follow the brown signs.

Price

If you are not a member then adults cost £11.00 and children £5.50 (as of August 2021) this is the standard admission price not the gift aid price.

Our visit

We visited Knighthayes as part of our Summer 2021 tour. This is the closest national trust property to the Caravan and Motorhome Club Site Exebridge Lakeside.

Interesting Fact

John Heathcoat one of the original owners of Knighthayes also owned a factory in Tiverton. He built a number of homes for factory workers in the town and these can still be seen to this day, look out for the doors that are painted grey.

Worth knowing

There is a reasonable walk from the car park down a hill before the visitors welcome centre and cafe. There is then a future walk to the main house. If visiting with disabled friends and family it would perhaps help if you talk to a member of staff about drop off and pick up points.
