Well we cannot believe that it was February since we last updated our blog, the time has flown by! Despite not having a caravan for adventures, we have still had many; including several trips to London seeing West End Shows and Life Size Monopoly.

In the months since our last post our new caravan delivery has been delayed again (no reason given) until October. This was another major disappointment for us as more campsite booking cancellations would need to be made, until Robinson’s Caravans came to the rescue! Jordan from Robinsons (the dealer our new van has been purchased through) organised for us to borrow a van for them to enjoy the summer holidays.

We collected a Swift Challenger Sport 554 from their Chesterfield branch ready for our August adventures.

The Swift Challenger Sport 554 has a fixed side bed (French Bed) and rear washroom. Having a fix bed will be a new experience for us as our Compass didn’t have one, we really are looking forward to not having to make the bed up each night, when our Elddis finally arrives this will have a rear fixed island bed.

This week has been busy getting all of the equipment ready for our trip, finding all of the bits and pieces we have stored around the house

We treated ourselves to a early wedding anniversary present, being a new Cadac Carri Chef 50, we love our Safari Chef but think the larger cooking area will be even more useful for us.
