The Healsey’s Cyder Farm is located just off of the A3075 near Penhallow, it is well signposted with brown tourist signs.

You can also book experiences on the farm including a cidermaster tour, vintage tractor rides and gin tastings.

Our visit

We visited the cider farm during our stay at Merrose Caravan and Motorhome Clubsite which is around 40 minutes away if you do not take the King Harry Ferry across the River Fal.

This was a great afternoon visit as you get to see the full process of cider making from the apples growing on the trees in the orchards, the machines used to press them when harvested and then the bottling department for the finished product.

Interesting Fact

Healsey’s produce many different ciders all at this farm including original apple cider and even a pineapple version.

Worth knowing

The farm has lots of cobbles and uneven flooring so take care when walking around. Definitely check out The Old Bottlery Restaurant the scones were yummy.

  1. I have reviewed the Cornish rattler, can’t say it was my favourite cider but quite distinctive. Not often you see coder produced from Cornwall in the supermarkets really. Mostly Herefordshire or Somerset
