Location

Lanhydrock is located near Bodmin, make sure when visiting you follow the brown tourist signs when you are near by to ensure that you enter the estate through the correct gateway. The estate very large and there are a number of different walks available for visitors. The actual house is a down hill walk from the vistor reception building -a shuttle service is available for those with mobility issues.


Price

As always if you are a member of The Trust entry is free. Otherwise adults cost £17.00 and children £8.50 (as of August 2022).

We visited Lanhydrock as part of our Cornwall 2022 tour while staying at Merrose Farm Caravan and Motorhome


Interesting Fact

There are many Roman artefacts still in the ground around the site. These have been researched by archaeologists and recorded but are best preserved currently by being kept under the soil.


Worth knowing

There is a small cafe on site with a limited amount of seating, however we took a picnic to have as there are many picnic benches and open areas to sit.
