Our Stay
We visited The Sandringham Estate Club site during the February half term 2023.
Location
The site is located in the heart of the Royal Sandringham Estate. Approximately 8 miles from the town of Kings Lynn and 9 miles from the seaside town of Hunstanton.

Directions
The below route guidance is based on information from the Caravan and Motorhome Club website and our own experience.
Turn right off the A149 (King’s Lynn – Hunstanton) onto the B1439 (signposted West Newton). The site is on the left within 0.5 miles. To avoid traffic congestion in the area of Sandringham Country Park, do not turn off the A148 onto the B1440.
The Site
This site is open all year. However, 57 pitches and one facility block are closed over the winter period.

During our stay, only one of the facilties blocks open. The block that was open was to the usual CAMHC standard.

In the area
There are many things to do in the area, including visiting the Royal Country retreat Sandringham. There is a walk from the site to the house (see our separate blog post coming soon), this is 3.5 miles, taking approximately 1.5 hours.
Hunstanton only 9 miles away is a typical seaside town with shops, amusements, beach, supermarkets etc.
During our stay we visited Holt (30 miles away). This wasn’t our original plan, but because of the weather, we decided to visit the North Norfolk Railway, a stream railway that took us to Sherringham.
