Long time followers of TwoGoTowing will know that we have had several awnings since starting caravanning in 2020. We’ll we have just brought another one!

We love our Dometic Awning for use in the summer, but felt that we needed a small porch awning for the winter months. We wanted to have something that would be lightweight, compact when put away, quick to pitch, and easy to dry out. We hope that the Quest Leisure Falcon 220 ticks these boxes.

During our recent stay at the Sanringham Estate Club Campsite, we used the Falcon, and we were really with it. It’s very easy to put up as there is one pole that goes through the roof at the front and two side poles. The frame is adjustable, which is really helpful if you’re on a sloped pitch. We did consider the air version. However, as this is primarily for winter use, we didn’t want to risk it in cold weather. This is a very lightweight awning, only 3.9kg.
