We used the OutdoorActive app to both track and follow the plan for this route. You can see our walk on OutdoorActive by clicking here

We started off at the Coed Y Llwyn Caravan Llwyn club campsite and turned left out of the site entrance and walked up the lane. The route was easy to follow using the national cycle way markers and then the yellow way markers. We used our phones at the Outdooractive app to check that we were heading in the right direction.
Part of this walk took us past the Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station. It was strange being in such a natural landscape and then seeing this massive building. This power station was opened in 1965 but decommissioned in 1991.
The route then comes to a perimeter road around Llyn Trawsfynydd (the man-made reservoir used for cooling of the power station).
