Happy New Year! Well after 15 months of waiting we have finally had a call from Jordan at Robinsons Caravans (just before Christmas) to say that our brand new caravan in on site and ready for collection! This came out of the blue as despite many delivery dates being given by the manufacturer they came and went. The van has had the extras that we ordered fitted to it by the Robinsons team and we are really looking forward to collecting it in a couple of days time!

We have been to the storage yard to check that our pitch is still all in order, as we haven’t used it in over a year (we have continued to pay for it so not to lose our spot)! This allowed us to check to see if anything has changed at the yard since we last visited and we now have a caravan neighbour in the pitch next to us that had previously always been empty.

When we have collected the caravan we look forward to sharing with you via a blog post our experience of collection.

Now we can let the planning commence! Just after Christmas, the Caravan and Motorhome Club Site Directory for 2023/2024 arrived together with a handy map with all of the club sites plotted, while we don’t exclusively stay at club sites for our current tours the clubs sites have always been in the best locations for us.

When planning trips we try to build them around visits to local attractions, as members of the National Trust we try to take full advantage of our membership. As you can see from our map below we have visited many Trust properties.
